SPELLO 12 OCTOBER 2019 SOLEMN CEREMONY OF CONFERENCE OF THE VII EDITION OF THE "CONSTANTINUS MAGNUS" INTERNATIONAL PRIZE
In a packed Hall of the Edict of the Town Hall of Spello (where a very important one is kept) epigraphic text the "Rescript of Constantine in favor of Spello" found in 1733, was held the awarding ceremony of the 8th Edition of the Constantinus Magnus International Award, which each year it identifies Italian and foreign excellences that have distinguished themselves in the various areas of culture, art, research, creativity, science, and promoted the values of freedom, of justice, peace, and universal brotherhood, by putting themselves at the service of the community and of humanity.
To welcome the guests the Sovereign Grand Master of the Nemagnico Costantinian Order of Saint Giorgio and Santo Stefano, Prince Luigi Maria Picco of Montenero Lavarello Obrenovic and the first citizen of Spello, dr. Moreno Landrini.
Opening the greetings of the Authorities present and the introduction of the President of the Commission evaluator, prof. Giorgio Bonamente.
The prestigious award, a reproduction of a coin from the Constantinian era on a trophy with personalized plate, saw four very excited prizewinners, among them:
- Prof. Johann de Bono for the "Science" Section
- Prof. Lucio De Giovanni for the "Art and Culture" Section
- Dott. Claudio Sciurpa for the Section "Entrepreneurship and Economy"
- Maestro Marco Misciagna for the "Music, Cinema and Entertainment" Section
The management of the event entrusted to Dr. Matteo Giorgio Guido Priori was elegant, refined and with that bit of irony that made possible a festive and family atmosphere.
At the end the guests toasted, in the closing cocktail party, the success of the award by giving themselves a see you next year.
